This instance securely connects to your store account, verifies your digital game licence, boots up the game, and starts streaming the visuals back to your device.
Your inputs, whether from a controller, keyboard or touchscreen, are sent to a data centre in real time, while the rendered gameplay is streamed back to you with minimal delay using advanced codecs like AV1. It feels just like playing on a top-tier gaming PC, only without the cost or maintenance.
When you log out, your cloud saves are uploaded and synced, and the instance is deleted. Every time you launch a new game session this process repeats, an instance is created from a template, you play, and then it gets safely deleted.
