The first stage of play is our Beta program in September 2021. The program has been designed to learn about the optimal performance of the GeForce NOW Australia service across as many different variables as possible. A staged release to Beta Play will see a limited number of players onboarded initially, with new users added to the testing pool every week.

The upcoming Beta Play program will give us the insight we need to deliver GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet in the most cost-effective way for all Aussie gamers. We intend to release plan options in the soon, including options for casual play and subscription bundles.

Yes, you need to own or purchase a game from one of the supported game stores before playing it on GeForce NOW.

There are a few system requirements we suggest checking out here.

One of the key things you'll need for an epic GeForce NOW experience in Australia will be a fast and stable internet connection. GeForce NOW requires at least 15Mbps for 720p at 60fps and 25 Mbps for 1080p at 60fps. A hardwired Ethernet connection or 5GHz router is strongly recommended.

During our Beta Play period in September, Pentanet will determine which networks in Australia have the capability to deliver the future gaming technology to households, and which network types don't yet “cut the mustard”. Stay tuned…

Pentanet (ASX:5GG) may be a new name to some eastern states gamers, but we're no stranger to gaming and esports. In 2017, our founder and managing director, Stephen Cornish, sold his house to build the first fixed wireless tower because he was frustrated with his performance in League of Legends. He says: “I figured my bad internet was what was keeping me stuck Ranked Bronze, so I fixed it and have only been stuck in Silver ever since.”

Pentanet are Western Australia's favourite telco, passionate about superfast internet and amazing local service. Delivering affordable high-speed internet services to the Perth metro area and NBN fibre to regional WA, Pentanet are proudly powering our great state with superfast internet solutions to suit your home, family, business or enterprise. It's fast, reliable, local internet that you can count on.

Born from three gamers' frustration with below average internet speeds, Pentanet has privately built Perth's largest and fastest growing fixed wireless network. With over 42 towers connected by over 300km of dark fibre across the Perth metropolitan region, the Pentanet Fixed Wireless network delivers fibre-like speeds “through the air” using point-to-point technology.

We do see this issue with non-US Keyboards and are trying to find a way to improve it. In the meantime, we recommend using US English keyboards, or the NVIDIA on-screen control (OSC) keyboard, or Steam Big Picture keyboard to type in characters such as @. However, if you have a Uplay account with non ASCII characters, you cannot use the NVIDIA OSC keyboard or a US English keyboard. You may need to change your password to log in to Uplay on GeForce NOW.
