‘Fortnite’ mobile touch experience launches out of beta, now available to all GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet subscribers, streaming to supported mobile devices via iOS Safari and the NVIDIA GeForce NOW Android app.
Starting this This Week on GFN, Fortnite on GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet with touch controls on mobile is available to all subscribers, streaming through the Safari web browser on iOS and the GeForce NOW app.
The full launch — including the removal of the waitlist — follows a successful global beta where more than 500,000 participants streamed over four million sessions to hundreds of different mobile device types.
The closed beta gave us an opportunity to test and learn a tremendous amount. It provided an opportunity to optimise on-screen touch controls and game menus, so that gameplay feels intuitive. The end result is a touch experience that gamers will enjoy.
These improvements wouldn’t have been possible without the millions of sessions streamed by beta participants.
